Privacy Policy

In one sentence: your photos stay on your phone. Recognition happens on your device and the photos themselves are never uploaded to any server. To write captions and lay out your book, we only send a text summary of what was recognized.
1. What we process

2. Why we need these permissions
- Photos (read): to let you pick photos for your book, and to read capture time and location to organize chapters. You can grant access to selected photos only.
- Photos (add): only when you choose to export images, to save the finished pages to your library.
- Network: to generate layouts and captions, verify membership and send anonymous usage statistics.
3. Third-party services
- Layout service (DeepSeek): receives the text summary described above and returns a layout and captions. It does not receive photos.
- Subscription management (RevenueCat): handles subscription status and restoring purchases; receives an anonymous device identifier and receipts.
- Usage statistics (Mixpanel): receives anonymous usage events.
- Apple: the App Store handles payment; for reverse geocoding, only coordinates are sent to the map service.
We never sell your information to third parties or use it for purposes unrelated to the app.
4. Storage and deletion
- Your books, photo copies and text are stored inside the app's sandbox on your phone.
- Deleting a book permanently deletes its photo copies and content; deleting the app removes all local data.
- The originals in your Photos library are not affected.
5. Your rights
- Change or revoke photo access at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Photos.
- Delete books or the app at any time to clear your data.
- To access, export or delete information related to you, contact us at the email below. We'll reply within 15 business days.
6. Changes to this policy
If this policy changes materially, we'll let you know in the app or prominently on this page. Continuing to use the app means you accept the updated policy.
